RESIDENTIAL — LUXURY HOME FURNISHINGS —INTERIOR DECORATE

stellar supernova

Along the Oso Bay, a stellar supernova sits along the shoreline. This new-build posed many design opportunities as the project progressed. Coming in mid-way through the project, we selected flooring and other specific finishes, curated the entire home’s furniture, determined and provided some decorative lighting, selected quartz countertops within the entire home, furnished and selected all outdoor furniture, and even designed a custom faux-painting in the powder bathroom.

Entering the home, guests are greeted by a double-height space and two playful koi fish, painted by Jill Malouf. The selected polished porcelain flooring helps reflect light across the entire open layout. From the right of the foyer, a formal dining room and wine cellar peak through the visual. A grand Sonder Living chandelier grounds this space with a ten-person dining table. The formal living room, flooded with natural light by clerestory and large windows, continues with tall ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling fireplace. The play on woods from the dark walnut fireplace to medium oak coffee tables warms the neutral cream and beige space. Soft textures from the pillows and living chairs contrast the leather sectional.

The open kitchen sits between the informal living room, a large breakfast area, and the formal living room. The Cambria quartz embraces the space not only as a countertop, but also as the backsplash and the large island with a waterfall edge. The adjacent breakfast room table with rattan chairs looks out onto the bay with nearly floor to ceiling windows. Continuing into the informal living room, a color scheme of grays, creams, and browns neutralize this end of the home’s open layout.

Another room making a big impression is the powder bath. The metallic finishes mixed with the stone vanity create a richness in this custom design. One of our very own designers also created and faux painted the walls to create the “brick” effect.

The master bedroom continues the wood accents onto the ceiling while the rest of the room contains soft metallics and light colors. The custom-made bedding reflects the metal sideboard and sconces.
